Due to a recent influx of membership applications, we have closed recruitment temporarily. Recruitment will re-open in mid-December.
For updates on our recruitment status, follow our social media channels.
We have recently updated our joining requirements for NAS medical roles. You MUST now hold a minimum of a PHECC approved CFR (Community or Advanced) certificate in real life to be considered for NAS roles.
Once your application has been submitted, it will be reviewed by our Recruitment Team. This process can vary in amounts of time, however, we try to get the majority of applications processed in (at most) 48 hours.
You will recieve a text message confirming your interview date and time and providing you with a link to our Discord server. You will need to join this as this is where interviews are conducted. It also provides some useful information about the interview and how to prepare.
If you are applying for the control room, you can pretty much ignore this bit.

Normally, new members of the community must a) pass probation and b) spend at least two months in the community before being able to transfer to the Garda Armed Support, Roads Policing and Drugs and Organised Crime units or undertake specialist training courses.
Places within specialist units and on specialist training courses are chosen through competitive selection. Each unit/course has its own entry requirements and selection procedures.
